Adding & Changing Site Locations
Sites as Points
Site geometries are often recorded as geopoints (a specific point on the map). This makes them easier to record and input into Zite. If you are working with geopoints, here are your options to make changes:
When creating a site in the mobile application, users can record their current location as the sites location.
When editing any site through Site Settings you can simply change the Latitude and Longitude provided and click "Apply"
You can use the Bulk Upload & Update features to make many changes to the geometries at once. You can use the Geometry field in the template (using WKT format) or provide the Latitude and Longitudes in their associated fields.
Sites as Lines & Areas
If your sites are areas or lines and you want these geometries to be reflected in the platform then you need to provide the full geometry in WKT format. You can do this in two ways:
Through Site Settings, where you can edit an individuals site's geometry.
Through the Bulk Upload & Update features, where you can edit multiple site's geometries using WKT formatted inputs in the geometry field of the template
