Adding Region Geometries
Regions can be harder to work with because they are inherently a "Shape" that will be represented as a Polygon or Multipolygon in GIS. You may need to be familiar with the basics of GIS in order to proceed. We recommend asking ChatGPT for help or a similar tool if you get stuck.
Adding geometry to Regions
To add geometry to as Region you have created in Zite, you will first need at least need a GIS shape file with that region in any format.
If the format for the Region boundary is not already in WKT format, you will need to convert it to WKT format.
Then using the Bulk Upload & Update - Region feature in your Project settings, you then need to export your list of regions.
Add the WKT formatted text to the Region template in the geometry field. The text should be inputted on the same row as the region you are adding.
Re-upload the file and confirm that the upload was successful.
The Region boundary should not be visible in the mapping feature and within Region reports.
