Archive Data

The Archive Data Settings allow you to filter information from your Site Dashboards and Project Metrics. This can be useful if you have a larger or long-running project with lots of data being processed. The purpose of Site and Project dashboards in Zite is to orient users to cases they need to review and manage. By archiving (filtering) data from the dashboard, you can improve how quickly your project and site dashboards loads and make sure the metrics represent only recent data.

What is Archiving?

  • Archived data is data that falls outside of the data ranges you have filtered. You can have different filters depending on the associated status.

  • Archived data can still appears normally in any reports you have created or configured. Report filters and archiving filters are separate and not linked.

  • Archived data will be omitted from your site and project dashboard metrics (the large horizontal bar and figures at the top of these pages).

  • Archived data can still be searched. If you search for the case number, it will still appear in your site dashboard even if it has been archived.

How to Archive Data

  • Archiving is done primarily by the status of the associated case.

  • You simply select the date ranges of data for data that you want to keep on your site dashboards. Cases created outside of this range will be archived.
