Before you start
A Project Plan is quick to build once you know what goes in it, so settle three things first:
The stages, in order. Write them down as the field team would say them – Site Survey, Structural Assessment, Installation, Commissioning, Handover. Decide which big stages should be split into sub-stages (Installation → Mounting Structure, Panel Installation, Electrical Wiring).
Which stages need a form. A stage can be completed by a form submission, a checkbox, or a photo with a description. Any form you want to use must already be deployed to this project but not yet assigned as a general form – the picker only offers forms that meet both conditions. See Deploy a form.
Site types. If a stage applies to only some kinds of site, make sure those Site Types exist in the project's Sites settings.
You need the Manager role on the project.
