The five statuses
Every case has exactly one CASE STATUS. Zite uses the same five everywhere, each with its own color:
Status | Color | Typical meaning |
|---|---|---|
Pending | blue | New; nobody has decided yet |
Flagged | amber | Needs attention — urgent, sensitive or unusual |
In Progress | purple | Accepted and being worked on |
Approved | green | Checked and accepted as final |
Rejected | red | Not accepted — duplicate, out of scope or wrong |
The names are fixed, but what they mean in practice is up to your team. In Community Input Mechanism, Approved means the feedback has been verified and answered, while in an engineering project it might mean the inspection passed.
