Reviewer Focal Areas

You can create focal areas for your reviewers in order to refer or share specific cases with them. This is useful when you want some of your cases to be accessible and reviewed by a user but not give them access to all data submitted to the site or through a particular form. Reviewer focal areas are simple to create and only require an ID and name. They can be edited at any time and have no restrictions. To use reviewer focal areas, two conditions must first be met.

1) There are users who have this Reviewer Focal Area assigned.

First a user must be assigned as a reviewer to a particular focal area. This means that they will have review access over a set of cases that match the criteria in the second condition.

2) There is a workflow referring tickets to a particular Focal Area.

Second, the "Refer" workflow should be used to categorize the cases as part of the focal area. Documentation about the Refer workflow can be found in the link below with information about the workflow feature. Any combination of workflow criteria can be used to determine which cases are part of a focal area.
