Advanced Settings

The advanced settings section allows you to toggle on and off various features and functions related to your project in case they are not needed. The following settings can be adjusted:

  • Regions - Will turn off region function. This means region filter will not appear as available in the site dashboards, project dashboards, and mobile application.

  • Types - Will toggle the Site Type field. Site type is a meta field that is designated filter for the site list. It can also be used as an additional field through which to assign user permissions.

  • Sub Sites - Will turn off sub-site functionality and prevent sub-sites from being created within the project through the interface or bulk-upload feature.

  • Site Documents - Will enable or disable the ability to upload documents as part of a site. Site documents appear as a tab on the site dashboard that show and enable users to upload information there.

  • Site Status - Will enable or disable the site status settings. When this feature is disabled, site status will not appear in site profiles or on dashboards. As a result, all sites will appear by default in the mobile application.

  • Site Creation for Non-Managerial Roles - This allows users who do not normally have permission to add sites to request a site to be added. With this enabled users can create a site but the site needs to be approved before it is added under the "Site List" section of the settings.

  • Site Edit for Non-Managerial Roles - This allows users who do not normally have permission to edit site information. With this enabled users can edit a site but the edits need to be approved before it is added under the "Site List" section of the settings.
