What site statuses are for
Site status shows the current operational state of a site — whether it is active, on hold, completed, and so on. Beyond a simple label, each status controls two important things: whether the site shows on the mobile app, and whether it can still receive submissions. You can also mark one status as the default for new sites, and give each one a color so it is easy to scan on your lists and dashboards.
