Site Type

Site Type designates the type of facility or other custom information about the site. Unlike site information, Site Type is a system field that can be used in assigning permissions, filtering reports, and be involved in other settings of Zite.

Site Types are custom to a particular project and need to be added when you set up the project. You can turn on or off Site Types if you do not need them. To add a site type, simply click "Add Site Type" and provide an ID and name for the Site Type.

  • Site Type ID - Is the unique identifier of for the Site Type. This value should not contain spaces or other information. The Site Type ID is also used to make changes to the Site Type through the Bulk Upload feature.

  • Site Type Name - Will be what the user sees in the site profile, mobile application, within report and other areas of the user interface.
