Hide maps in the mobile app
In some settings, showing site locations on a map in the field app isn't wanted — for example where locations are sensitive, or where field devices are on very limited data connections and map tiles are a needless cost. Zite lets you switch maps and mapping elements off in the mobile app for the whole project.
Open Project Settings and select Sites → Advanced Settings.
Turn on Disable Map Elements in Mobile App.
Maps then stop loading in the field app. Everything else — forms, tasks and site details — keeps working as normal, and managers and reviewers still see maps on the web.
