User Information fields

Whenever you add someone to your project, Zite asks for a few details about them — their name, and perhaps a phone number or an email address. These basic profile details are the person's user information.

But every project needs to know something different about its people. A construction project might need each installer's certification number; a health project might not. The user information settings let you shape the profile your project keeps for every user — turning off details you don't need and adding ones you do — so you only ever collect what's useful to you.

You'll find these controls in Project Settings → Users → User Information. They come in two groups: the Default fields Zite provides, and Custom fields you create yourself. A red asterisk (*) next to a field means it's required.
