The people a site serves
A beneficiary is a person or household that receives something through a site - the families registered at a community center, the patients enrolled at a health post, the pupils at a school. Keeping beneficiaries in Zite gives you one register per site that field staff can update from the ground and managers can review, filter and export.
Beneficiaries live on the site, in the BENEFICIARIES tab next to CONTACTS. Boane Community Centre in Community Input Mechanism has a Household beneficiary, Joaquim Sitoe, and several Individual beneficiaries.
The difference between the two lists is who the person is to you: a contact helps you run the site; a beneficiary is served by it. They are set up and used in almost exactly the same way, so most guides in this category cover both.
