Keep project records in one shared table

Some project information doesn't fit a form. Partners report what they did each month, a team keeps a list of distributions, someone tracks who attended which training. These records usually end up in spreadsheets passed around by email — and they never quite match.

A data table keeps that kind of record inside the project. Each row is an entry linked to one of your sites, and everyone with access works from the same, up-to-date table. In the example used throughout this section, partner organizations report their activities at each site — who did what, where and when — in a table called Partner activities (4W).
