Shapes written as text
WKT (Well-Known Text) is a standard way of writing a location or shape as plain text. Zite uses it to store where each site and region is: a single point such as a school, a line such as a road, or an area such as a camp boundary.
Most of the time you never need to type it. When you draw a site on the map, Zite writes the WKT for you. You will see it in a few places:
Coordinates (WKT), the box under the map when you Create a site or Edit a site.
The Geom column when you Upload and update sites in bulk or Upload and update regions in bulk.
Geometric Object, when you add a boundary to a region in Regions.
