Case
What a row is. One form submission — or, where a workflow adds follow-up submissions to the original, one case with all its submissions. Key columns: Case ID, Site ID, Site Name.
When you would use it. Whenever you want the raw answers: a log of quality checks with the inspector and the result, every survey ever submitted, all cases still Pending review. It is the workhorse of data views.
Data modules. Case Information (submission date and location, number of submissions in the case, case status, reviewer comments, last reviewer, case history, plus any custom case-review fields; also the submitting and reviewing user's details) · Site Information · Region Information · Form Information (every question of the chosen form, including sections and repeat groups) · Task Metrics (tasks linked to the case).
Filters. CASE (Submission Date per form, Case Status, Grouped Submissions, ⊕ tags and custom case fields) · SITE (Sites, Site Types, Site Status, Organization) · REGION (Regions) · FORM INFORMATION (Forms, ⊕ the form's own choice and date questions) · USER (Users, User Roles).
Example. Quality check results — one row per solar-panel inspection with the school, the installation stage, the panel count and the review status.
A Case view can follow several forms at once — see Multi-form data views.
